Now, onto more photos! Scroll all the way to the end to enter a giveaway to enter for free patterns! I sewed the long pants version, but the pattern comes with SOO many options. I’m sure if you check out all the out the other posts in the series you will see the endless possibilities of this “Not Just a Sunsuit” pattern.
I love the way mine turned out. Perfect for dress up or just an afternoon at play.
The pockets are my favorite part of the whole outfit and Rose was pretty excited about them too.
The pocket piping adds the most adorable detail to the pockets. There is also some piping at the top, but mine matches my sunsuit top, so you can’t see it as well.
The gathered straps, waist and back make the fit of this perfection. I sewed up the 2T and it fits great. The only change I made to the pattern was to make the leg elastic tighter. I made the legs a bit long, so she can wear this next spring. The elastic is tight enough that the long legs won’t drag, I’m hoping this will allow her to wear it as she grows.
It’s really difficult to get photos of this one… she was chasing her brothers around, and I was trying to photograph her, and not get them in the shot. I’ve had this fabric for awhile, it’s a gorgeous cotton, and I knew it would be perfect for this outfit.
Isn’t the top gorgeous?
The back is equally amazing with some extra gathers that make the top fit perfectly.
You could use three colors, or two different colors in different combinations. I wasn’t sure how it was going to look with the matching top two pieces, but I like it! The blue panel breaks up the flower pattern.
Okay, before you go enter the giveaway! There are 4 free patterns up for grabs too, so enter the giveaway now!!

I just adore this version so much! She looks perfectly comfy in it, but it’s just a bit fancy too. So good!!
