Personalized lunch boxes, snack boxes and water bottles
Ok! SO making personalized school items is super easy. You will need… sticky vinyl {not heat transfer}, transfer paper, and either scissors to cut the vinyl or a vinyl cutter like a Scan and Cut, Cricut or Silhouette. I used a free front that was circle shaped and cut 3 of each of the boys names. You can aslo trace and cut letters with scissors. {they may not be as detailed, but will certainly serve the purpose}. Pull the extra vinyl away from your letters and you should have a color vinyl on a white backgroud. Cut a piece of transfer tape the same size as ONE name. Place it sticky side down on top of the name and press all over. Peel up the transfer tape slowly picking up the name with the transfer tape.
Press the transfer tape and vinyl to the lunch/snack box or water bottle. You can use a card to scrape it down.
Peel up the transfer tape and the vinyl should stay put. If it doesn’t – press it down again. I did this to the boys water bottles LAST Aug and the names lasted the whole school year. You can can wash as normal! This also works on glass, ceramic and other surfaces..
Then do it again and again until all your back to school year gear is personalized with your kids names. We started school on Wed… and we were READY! Check out all these cute personalized lunch boxes… love them!

But when you wash these items doesn’t the vinyl tear or fall off?
