Every Christmas season I love creating a new wreath for our home. There are just so many great ideas and wreaths look so festive! This year I made a Woodland Animal Christmas Wreath…
Cute, right? Remember last year when I made this garland with IKEA animals? I had so much fun with that project, I wanted to make something similar again this year. I decided to make a wreath with these IKEA stuffed animals and Krazy Glue. I recently had the opportunity to try out this new Krazy strong, Krazy fast craft gel formula that made this project super easy. I didn’t have to wait for the glue gun to heat up, or deal with those crazy glue strings after. This formula is fast drying and no drip, so I can tackle so many different kinds of projects with it. I also love how large the new 20 gram tubes are, I made this whole wreath with about half a tube! Okay, let’s get to the wreath…. gather your supplies:
My IKEA animal friends, 1 large tube of Krazy Glue, glass mini bauble ornaments, and a wreath.
Arrange the animals and balls on the wreath
Once you have everything just the way you want it, start gluing. You don’t need a lot with this Krazy Glue formula, but with the wreath not being a solid surface I was generous with my glue. This glue has a special skin guard formula to give you time to use the glue and not stick your fingers together. {we’ve all been there, right?}
Press firmly for 30 seconds to bond your animal to the wreath.
I gave the wreath just a few minutes to completely dry before I hung it up.
I love the way all the colors work together on this wreath.
My boys love this wreath! It’s hanging in our living room right now, but I wouldn’t be surprised if the boys steal if for their room. They are super into decorating their personal space this year! This wreath is a new favorite for sure. You can find tons of other great masterpieces in minutes on the Krazy Glue Pinterest board.

Darn, I just went to the Salt Lake IKEA and they do not have the moose or polar bears, only the squirrel.
Emily says
bummer!! did they have other animals you could use?
Stephanie says
Not for woodland theme. They had rats (really? Who wants rats?) white horses, dragons, some kind of fairy and frogs. Oh well, I guess I could do felt animals.
Emily says
yes, maybe just some other animals would be cute too!! Not rats though… I would avoid those ;o) HA!
